Wheat Thins, the crackers, are helping you to DO THINGS in 2012 as part of their new marketing campaign Do What You Do.

The video you see here is part of their online campaign [Facebook focused] that enlists the help of a creepy/dirt/moustached mouth coach called the “Do-minatrix”. The mouth is meant to help motivate you to do things, starting with typical New Years Resolutions. I’m afraid this execution is neither so-bad-it’s-good or so-good-it’s-good.

A better job imho enlists Brian and Stewey from family guy fighting over the pronunciation of “wheat thins” allowing them to say it 30 times in 30 seconds. Not sure it communicates “Do What You Do” but i’m just gonna continue doing what I was doing.

Looking to release the new name of your big agency merger in a creative and interactive way?  Well do I have a proof of concept for YOU!

Ogilvy Stockholm and Grey Stockholm jumped headfirst into Facebook integration to announce the name of their recently merged agency.  They did so in a tease release that asked visitors to the website to login using Facebook Connect, which then added their profile photo to a mosaic that eventually revealed the new agency name.

Quick, clever, fun.  Thanks INGO, or should I say “those protected by Yngvi” (Wiki).
