One of Sir Richard Branson’s many life goals is well on its way to becoming something more than just a casual detail of science fiction. Spaceport America (or The Virgin Galactic Gateway to Space, if you prefer the titles of your dreams in longform) was designed by architecture firm Foster + Partners, the designers behind the Millenium Bridge and the Smithsonian Institution.
The port, located in New Mexico, holds a LEED Platinum certification and boasts numerous environmental designs. Click through for more information
