I joined Cunning in 1998 as the first employee of Anna Carloss’ new start-up which was originally called Cunning Stunts. We were the first dedicated guerrilla marketing agency that focused on creating newsworthy advertising. It was (and continues to be) fantastic fun. Over the past 12 years, I’ve created hundreds of media firsts as well as headline-grabbing PR stunts, 7 World Records, ambient programs, digital concepts, social media and Guerrilla Marketing tactics, as well as larger, long-term, strategic global projects. Past and present clients include: Mini Cooper, Levi’s, Unilever, HSBC, NBC, Cadbury Adams, BMW Dubai, Vodafone Australia, Esprit global, JWT, BBH, Avon, Virgin, Zenith Media. Away from the 9-to-5, I garden, make beer, make up stories, @twipple and turn email spam into fashion items for charity. I’ve lectured at the London College of Printing and New York University as well as to a wide variety of global media companies, including the BBC, the New York Times, the Financial Times, Wired, National Public Radio and numerous industry blogs. My latest venture with Cunning is the launch of a Creative Development and Enhancement workshop called FLIGHT.
